【體路專訊】香港羽毛球男單「一哥」伍家朗周四（28日）在馬來西亞公開賽十六強火併中華台北名將周天成，戰至決勝局中段因主裁判一次改判導致情緒崩潰，最終以局數1：2飲恨，無緣晉級。向來好脾氣的伍家朗賽後罕見在個人社交網炮轟球證，並促請羽毛球比賽每個球場都使用鷹眼系統，減少錯判失誤。
伍家朗與世界排名第4的周天成於2018年2次交手各勝一仗，今仗重逢依然鬥得難分難解，伍家朗表現慢熱先以12：21丟失首局，但站穩陣腳後打回應有水平，重拾比賽節奏及手感，第2局以21：19扳平。
雙方戰至決勝局比分一直咬緊，直至周天成領先14：12時，主裁判將伍家朗一記得分球改判為出界，讓這位港羽「一哥」氣得咬牙切齒，不斷找主裁理論，比賽亦因而暫停了5分鐘。然而主裁判仍維持原判，伍家朗情緒波動下已無法專心作賽，結果以13：21稱臣，次圈止步。
Totally disgrace about the match today, not because of the result nor about my performance. As you can see in the video, I made a flat shot to Chou’s backhand corner and I think almost everyone can see that was in, including the line judge. However, the umpire made a correction on the line judge’s decision and told me he 100% saw that was OUT!!! 😨😨How can he be that confident to say he was 100% sure with such a distance between him and the shuttle?🤷🏼♂️I was coming from behind and supposed to be just one point down after that shot, I really thought I had the chance to win, but after that point, I was totally destroyed and lost my match in the end. What I want to say is, hawk eye is really needed in all the courts to ensure a fair game.

伍家朗賽後在個人社交網發文作出控訴，並附上該記問題球的視訊，直指這是一場「恥辱」的比賽，他強調包括司線員在內幾乎所有人都看見那是一個界內球，惟主裁判卻表示100％肯定出界！伍家朗認為主裁判的位置與與邊線有一定距離，根本沒可能作出100％的判斷，並怒斥對方毀掉了自己本應有機會獲勝的比賽，最後，他表示羽毛球賽事極度須要在每個比賽球場都引入鷹眼系統，以確保公平競技。
女單方面，港羽「一姐」張雁宜力戰37分鐘以22：24、11：21不敵西班牙奧運冠軍馬蓮，同告無緣八強。反觀混雙3號種子鄧俊文／謝影雪就以2：1（21：15、24：26、21：10）力挫丹麥對手Joachim Fischer Nielsen／Alexandra Boje，勇闖半準決賽，成為港隊獨苗。
