投球四角賽港隊4分惜負愛爾蘭奪亞

【體路專訊】「香港投球四角賽」昨日（11日）假九龍公園體育館上演決賽日，港隊在冠軍戰力戰下以27：31不敵愛蘭爾奪得亞軍。

四角賽參賽的4支隊伍包括東道主香港、愛爾蘭、新加坡及格林納達，當中以港隊的排名最低。儘管如此，港隊仍能在首階段以2勝1負的成績殺入決賽。決賽面對愛爾蘭，首節僅落後1分的港隊完半場前成功反先15：14。不過愛爾蘭的實力及體能始終較好，第3節再度領先後便一直帶到尾，最終以31：27擊敗港隊在今項賽事稱后。季軍戰則由格林納達以52：44力克新加坡。
